ACME METALS & STEEL SUPPLY INSTALLS NEW HD PLASMA SYSTEM
Gardena, California - ACME METALS & STEEL SUPPLY, INC. is proud to announce
their newest addition in helping to offer customers more value added benefits. ACME
METALS installs a New Prostar/Sector Technology PRS 400 HD plasma table.
The Prostar/Sector table is matted to a Hypertherm HRP 400 XD high definition
plasma and has the capabilities of cutting up to 2” thick steel plate. We will be able
to offer plate marking, which can imprint heat numbers right to the plates
(light-heavy scoring and marking), punch marks or dimples, as well.
Customers can send order drawings directly to ACME METALS which will be
‘ready-to-cut’ and used to speed up lead times.”
ACME METALS will now be able to achieve a repeatable dimensional
accuracy of +(-) .005 inch over a distance of six (6) feet.
Brief details of ACME METALS new burning table:
- 11’ x 42’ cutting area
- High definition 400 amp plasma
- Oxy-propane torches (up to 8) for 2” and thicker material
- Cut up to 10” plate in Oxy Fuel
- Reduction of drops to customers
